All couples fight and try to explain themselves ( what they mean ) but do they understand what they mean to each other? I made a comment to my wife that really hurt her. I apologized for hurting her but not for what I did because I didn’t feel I did anything wrong , so just to stop the bleeding I apologized ( kind of ). She could see through the half hearted apology and how I just wanted to get on with life and it hurt her even more. It wasn’t until I realized my selfish pride and having to be right when I knew I was wrong. After talking it through I not only understand what she meant , but what she means to me.
